Susanna Reid is easing herself back into Piers Morgan’s company ahead of their return to Good Morning Britain.

The broadcasting duo, who have been on a lengthy summer break, reunited for a “big night out” in London.

Reid made sure to document their reunion in Soho, posting a selfie on Instagram.

She captioned the image: “Reunited. #gmb #soho #bignightout.”

Morgan also posted a picture from their night out, which saw them joined by fellow presenter Richard Bacon in a “gay bar” in the early hours of the morning.

The TV duo will return to breakfast TV on Monday morning after leaving Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh, Eamonn Holmes, Richard Madeley and Jeremy Kyle to hold the fort.

Morgan – who recently broke three ribs after falling on his “a***” – compared himself to a “ravenous leopard” as he revealed he is raring to get back to work.

“Bad news, Britain... I'm back on Monday morning and raring to go like a ravenous leopard,” he said.

“Albeit one with three broken ribs. Brace yourselves...it's going to be lively.”

Piers Morgan hints he might be quitting Good Morning Britain

Reid said: “After a calm and peaceful break, I'm sharpening my wits and gearing up for being back in the hot seat next to the only man in Britain who could start an argument in an empty room.

“We live in interesting times and it'll be good to be back in the newsroom bringing events to our GMB viewers.”

Some Good Morning Britain viewers have been counting down the days to Morgan’s return after slating Kyle.

The talk show host was branded “too shouty” and accused of treating his co-host Kate Garraway “like garnish” and “talking over everyone” during his stint.
