Actor Tamer Hassan has joked that he’ll take matters into his own hands if Love Island star Anton Danyluk breaks his daughter Belle’s heart.

Unlucky-in-love Anton appears to have finally met his match in make-up artist Belle, who was one of six female bombshells to join the show while the original girls were sent off to Casa Amor to meet half a dozen new boys.

Though the new couple’s relationship appears to be going from strength to strength, Game of Thrones star Tamer suggested that he’ll channel his inner Hollywood action hero if Belle gets “mugged off” by the Scottish gym owner.

“I kept saying ‘Anton, I dare you, I dare you,’” he told The Sun.

“I thought, ‘If you say anything that ain’t true or upset Belle, then mate I am coming in on a helicopter with a parachute and I am picking you up and taking you out.’”

He advised Anton to “be nice” and said that his daughter “knows what she wants and she goes and gets it.”

He added: “She’s her father’s daughter, but she’s not one to take another woman’s man because of who she is as a person.”

51-year-old Tamer previously appeared in football hooligan drama The Football Factory alongside Danny Dyer, the father of Love Island 2018 winner Dani.

Speaking ahead of her debut on the ITV2 dating show, Belle revealed: “Because [Tamer] was in a film with Danny Dyer, I’ve met Dani Dyer when we were kids.”

She described her famous dad as “very supportive” and “like a best friend” but admitted that he had warned her that he would be “watching” the show and “seeing every detail.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
