Taylor Swift has revealed that she doesn’t let her backing dancers hear the songs when they film her music videos in a bid to prevent leaks.

The Look What You Made Me Do singer explained that the dancers in her video for End Game were dancing to generic beats rather than the actual song.

The news was revealed in a behind-the-scenes look at the filming the music video, which was shot ahead of the release of Reputation in November last year.

Swift, 28, revealed that her backing dancers in the pub scene were moving to a “click-track”, a simplistic rhythm, while she listened to the song in ear pieces.

The singer explained: “I commend them fully because they’ve been pretending like there’s music playing when there’s not.”

Holding out nude coloured in-ear headphones, she added: “I have these in my ears.

“They’ve been dancing to a click track. It’s incredibly hard work.”

The dancers can then be seen moving along to the click track whilst Swift mimes the lyrics along with her in-ears.

Swift has since been announced as a headliner at the BBC’s Biggest Weekend. She is set to play alongside Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan, J Hus and Craig David.

The news comes after fans were left fuming after the DJ accused of groping Swift landed a new job at a radio station.

David Mueller, former KYGO 98.5 FM DJ, was sued for putting his hand up the back of Swift’s skirt during a meet and greet in June 2013.

Mueller, who previously went by the pseudonym Jackson, was announced to appear on-air as Stonewall Jackson and co-host Jackson and Jonbob on Mississippi radio station 92.7 KIX.
