Taylor Swift has posted the first social media snap of herself with boyfriend Calvin Harris, posing together in a swimming pool.

The first confirmation from the pop stars that they are in fact a couple, the snap shows the music power pair straddling an inflatable swan.

Captioning the snap, Swift drew on the popular phrase ‘relationship goals', writing: “Swan goals.”

Rumours that the pair were dating started circulating after they were seen together at the Brit Awards back in February.

Despite staying tight-lipped about the reports at the time, Swift and Harris appeared to go public with their relationship at the recent Billboard Awards in May.

The couple’s good friend Ellie Goulding recently took the credit for getting the pair together, admitting that she played matchmaker.

Speaking to Elle magazine, she said: “'I did play matchmaker, that's true.

“Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought. "They're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll brilliant together".'

While Swift has been single for some time, Harris only split from Rita Ora last year after a deluge of cheating rumours did the rounds.

While neither has spoken out about what happened between them, Ora wrote on Twitter:

“I don't usually address speculation but I've had an incredible time w Calvin,& i will treasure the memories.

“I've moved on from this topic so i hope people will respect that and do the same. Life can only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards.”
