The Weeknd and Bella Hadid have sparked reconciliation rumours at this year’s annual Coachella music festival in Los Angeles.

The famous exes, who split in November 2016, were reportedly spotted “canoodling” during a Travis Scott set, according to US Weekly.

The chart-topper and supermodel dated for 18 months before citing “busy schedules” as the cause of their break-up, in typical A-List fashion.

Eyewitnesses claim that they were kissing throughout the night and that Bella was happily sitting on her ex’s lap after watching his headline performance.

Another source says that “they are 100 per cent back together”, based on their affectionate show.

The couple were attending a VIP Coachella party in honour of Kourtney Kardashian’s collaboration with Kylie Cosmetics. Bella’s newly-single supermodel sister Gigi was also in attendance along with Kylie and Kendall Jenner.

Since the release of his latest EP, fans have been speculating about whether the song, ‘Wasted Time’, was inspired by his relationship with Bella. The pining lyrics, “wasted times I spent with someone else/ she wasn’t even half of you” and “these girls only want you when you’re winning/ but you’ve been with me from the beginning”, seem to point towards a reconciliation.

The famous exes last hit headlines when, just two weeks after their break-up, The Weeknd performed alongside Bella’s Victoria’s Secret catwalk debut. The awkward encounter inspired internet memes with the caption, “looking fly af and secretly hoping to run into an ex”.

Following their break-up, The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye – then went on to enjoy a very public, yet short-lived relationship with Selena Gomez before the former Disney star rekindled her tumultuous romance with Justin Bieber.

During his Coachella headline set on Saturday, the star was nearly reduced to tears when performing, “Call Out My Name”: a song allegedly inspired by his split from Selena Gomez.
