Thom Yorke and Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja have today released a joint album for a new documentary on tax avoidance in Britain.

The duo collaborated to record a 12 track score for The UK Gold, a film which looks at corporate tax avoidance, and the vast cost of this to Britain.

The score, which also features music from Elbow’s Guy Garvey and Yorke’s Radiohead bandmate Jonny Greenwood, is available to stream via the UK Uncut website.

Narrated by The Wire actor Dominic West, the new documentary will feature Channel 4 News anchor Jon Snow and Vanity Fair journalist Nicholas Shaxson.

Yorke recently blasted the governments “staggering hypocrisy” over tax avoidance during an interview with NME.

"For all the current government's talk of standards in the Financial Industry it comes as no surprise perhaps that the reality beneath reveals their staggering hypocrisy," he said.

"Now is the time to reveal the revolving doors between government and the City that has bred lies and corruption for so long, siphoning money through our tax havens for the global super rich, while now preaching that we the people must pay our taxes and suffer austerity. Just who does our government work for?"

The UK Gold airs on London Live tonight at 8pm. When the programme finishes, UK Uncut - a grassroots activists movement - will announce a national public call-out focused on the May general elections.
