The murder of Tupac Shakur has reportedly been “solved” as suspect Keefe D has confessed to playing a part in the murder of the rapper.

Duane Keith “Keefe D”, uncle of prime suspect Orlando Anderson, has said he was in the car when one of his crew opened fire adding that he knows who pulled the trigger.

Shakur died 22 years ago after he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting while driving through Las Vegas with Death Row Records boos Suge Knight.

A shooter in a white Cadillac pulled up on the right-hand passenger side of Shakur’s BMW while at traffic lights.

The shooter opened fire at 11:15pm on September 7 1996 hitting the star four times, in the chest, arm and thigh.

He died in hospital six days later and his murder has since remained unsolved.

A new Netflix series titled Unsolved, the Tupac and Biggie Murders has been released based on a Los Angeles Police Department task force probe believed to be headed by former police officer Greg Kading.

His findings emerged based on a taped confession by Keefe D under immunity from prosecution.

According to the Daily Star, he said: “I was a Compton kingpin, drug dealer, I’m the only one alive who can really tell you story about the Tupac killing.

“People have been pursuing me for 20 years, I’m coming out now because I have cancer. And I have nothing else to lose. All I care about now is the truth.

Shakur and his crew reportedly attacked Anderson in the lobby of a Las Vegas casino.

He was reportedly a rival Crips gang member who previously robbed a medallion from one of Shakur’s entourage.

The shooters Cadillac was being driven by Terrence “T-Brown” Brown with DeAndre “Dre” Smith sitting behind. Keefe D was in the front passenger seat and Anderson was sat behind him.

Keefe D refused to name the actual shooter because of the rules in the “street code” however added: “It just came from the backseat bro.”
