Vicky Pattison has hit back at trolls after she was accused of “blocking the bride” at her sister’s wedding.

The reality star, who rose to fame on Geordie Shore, was left close to tears in a series of impassioned videos defending herself from critics after she shared some wedding snaps.

Trolls hit out at Pattison for standing in front of her sister Laura at her nuptials in Mexico, accusing the star of “stealing the limelight”.

And after commenting on her own posts, Pattison decided to address critics on her Instagram stories and revealed that she was asked to stand in front of Laura to block a stain on the bridal gown.

She said: “So obviously Laura got married in Mexico. It was a super hot day and she looked stunning.

“Somewhere from getting to the room, finishing the wedding and getting the photos taken she got a little mark on her dress, which understandably she was sensitive about.

“So when we were taking photos at the end she asked if someone would angle themselves just in front of her so you couldn't see the stain, not that anyone would have really noticed.

'But that's what Laura asked, so that's what I did because she was the bride, because I love her, because I would do anything for her. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that people on my social media would attack me for that.”

The star, who called off her own engagement last year, went on to slam the idea that she was “deliberately” trying to take attention away from her sister.

Pattison, 31, continued: “Do you think that I can't have the spotlight on someone else for a single second? That I'm that pathetic?

“It's just mental to me, it's insane that people would assume that about us or write it under me Instagram, or take something as special as me sister's wedding day and mar it with your negativity and nastiness.”

However, Pattison made sure to thank the fans who had left nice comments and congratulations on her post before she signed off to enjoy the rest of her holiday, sharing snaps from the festivities.
