Victoria Beckham made sure she was well prepared for a trip to the theatre with a hip flask full of tequila.

The fashion designer was in the audience for Tina The Musical on Tuesday night, but admitted on Instagram that she had been warned she “might not like the wine” on offer.

Taking matters into her own hands, Beckham purchased personalised silver hip flasks which she filled with tequila, before rocking up to the theatre with her two pals and her parents.

“So, a lot of preparation is going in to make sure me and Derek and Ken have the right beverage while we’re at the theatre,” she told fans.

Beckham also hung out backstage with the show’s lead Adrienne Warren, who taught her some of Turner's iconic moves.

Rocking out to a Turner classic, Beckham and her hairdresser friend Ken Paves joined in as they thrust their arms back and forth.

Alongside the video, Beckham wrote: “So much fun tonight!!! #TinaTurnerMusical @derekblasberg @kenpaves x.

“Kisses @adriennelwarren that was the best performance I have ever seen!!!!! X WOW.”

The 44-year-old also captured the moment on her Instagram stories, adding: “Oh so never one to miss an opportunity... Adrienne taught us the dance!!!”

But her next video revealed that the dancing may have been a little overzealous, causing an awkward wardrobe malfunction.

“So, Ken, after all that dancing I’m a bit concerned that my tan may have run!” Beckham told the camera.

The musical, currently on stage at the Aldwych, tells the story of Turner’s illustrious career from her first tracks in Nutbush, Tennessee to her worldwide acclaim.
