Victoria Beckham will 'hopefully' join Spice Girls for 20th anniversary reunion
Victoria Beckham hasn't ruled out regrouping with the Spice Girls for the group's 20th anniversary.
Melanie Brown (Mel B), 40, has hinted that all of the girls (Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell) will be back to celebrate the anniversary of their debut single Wannabe in 1996 - despite earlier claims that Beckham is too busy to take part.
"I think it’s our 20th year next year so we’re going to be doing something at some point with hopefully all of us," the Lip Sync Battle presenter said.
"I think once you’ve had a taste of that you’ll always strive for that high.
"There’s nothing like getting up on stage and performing live to your fans and to a great crowd. You can’t beat that. So I’m always wanting that feeling back."
Her comments come weeks after it was reported that a reunion was in "crisis".
The Sun reported that Chisholm (Mel C) is refusing to take part unless Beckham agrees and “all the cogs are in place”.
A source told the publication: "This means good management, good tour promoters and good sponsorship to maximise revenue. To fulfil this Mel believes the band has to be the original five-piece and Victoria needs to be involved."
