Video footage has emerged showing the moment Kanye West sent his bodyguard to check why a wheelchair bound fan wasn't standing on his request.

The incident happened at the 37-year-old's Sydney Credit Union Arena gig on Friday night.

The Yeezus rapper stopped performing midway through his hit Good Life to tell fans that he would only continue if everybody got to their feet.

He said: "I can't do this song, I can't do this show until everybody stand up," before stating if "you got a handicap pass and you get special parking and s**t" then you may stay seated.

He continued: "Imma see you if you ain't standing up, believe me, I'm very good at that."

And true to his word he saw someone still seated so sent over his bodyguard Pascal Duvier to find out who dared to ignore the diva.

While the German bodyguard - who frequently appears alongside Kim Kardashian on hit show Keeping Up With the Kardashians - made his way over, Kanye told fans that waiting this long for people to take note of his request was "unbelievable".

He said: "This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song, it's unbelievable."

Pascal made his way back to the stage to confirm that the concert goer was in fact wheelchair bound, so Kanye continued with his set - without so much as an apology.
