Hollywood heart throb Robert Pattinson was joined on stage by an equally as good looking Eddie Redmayne at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Grants Banquet last night.

Twilight actor Pattinson - who recently revealed that he avoids going out as he doesn't like being papped - joked around with the crowd, revealing that the reason the good looking pair had been chosen was because English accents add “weight and clarity” which Redmayne said was down to the success of Downton Abbey.

The boys – who presented the grant for the American Film Institute - certainly turned heads at the event which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, and fans took to Twitter to announce their excitement.

One user wrote: “Got Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne, Morgan Freeman & Robert Pattinson sitting in front of me. Not a bad night at all!”

The buddies posed for photos with 22 Jump Street actor Channing Tatum and X-Men’s James Marsden and were joined at the event by Morgan Freeman, Jason Segel and Andy Samberg.

Thirty two year old Redmayne stars as Stephen Hawking in the up-coming biopic The Theory of Everything which documents the physicians early days at Oxford, meeting his first wife Jane Wilde, and his multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
