The news was revealed by former Strictly contestant Ashley Roberts on Heart FM breakfast, with Saffron being brought on the radio show as a guest.

Saffron will be joining former footballer David James, comedian Chris Ramsey and Eastenders actress Emma Barton for the upcoming series, with more celebrity contestants still to be announced.

She’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Joe Sugg, who became the first YouTuber to take part in the show and reached the finals last year.
