X Factor’s Olly Murs hits out at Simon Cowell for teasing romance with Caroline Flack
Singer Olly Murs is not happy with Simon Cowell for encouraging rumours suggesting he is romantically linked to his X Factor co-star Caroline Flack.
Cowell, 55, said the pair have “great chemistry” during an interview with The Sun where he also admitted: “I think he fancies her, or maybe the other way round, actually.”
Murs – who recently split from his long term girlfriend Francesca Thomas – said the “silly” comment left him “cross”.
Speaking on Loose Women he said: "I'm so cross with him. It's so silly. I've obviously just gone through a break up with my girlfriend which has been quite sad and it's been quite a difficult couple of weeks.

"So I’ll be having words with Simon about that.
"Me and Caroline have always said in interviews we've never been together we're just really good mates.
"Simon is always trying to stir it up, but we're just great friends. But yeah it's been a difficult couple of weeks."
The Troublemaker singer was left "numb" after his split from property developer Thomas in September following three years together.
A source told The Sun: "The split has just happened and it is very raw for Olly, he still feels numb.
"He always worried that his relationship would struggle because he'd always put his career first."
