X Factor star Luke Friend reveals a dramatic makeover
Dreadlocked X Factor contestant Luke Friend has revealed a dramatic makeover.
The 17-year-old singer agreed to clean up his act for a photo shoot in this week’s heat magazine.
Luke, 17, said: “The shoot’s awesome – a lot different to what I’ve done before.” He added, “The only thing is, I think I need to lose a bit of weight. I’ve got a bit of a tummy. I don’t worry about it, though. Chicks dig the chub!”
“I’ll never be ripped, though. I don’t want to be. It’s too much effort.”
Commenting on his newfound female attention, Luke told heat: “There seems to be Twitter pages for every part of my body now, even for the rude bits – there’s a penis one. I don’t mind.”
“I’m one of those people that if a girl’s coming on to me I wouldn’t have a clue. It’s really lovely, but I don’t know how to deal with it. Someone said something like, “I’ll scream if I don’t get your d**k.” I’m like, “Calm down!” I don’t see myself as a heartthrob; I guess I see myself as someone a bit different. That might be attractive to girls.”
He also confessed to a secret crush on a member of the X Factor production crew, saying: “I quite admire someone. They’re on the show. Not a contestant, in production.”
