X Factor's Ben Haenow releases video for winning single Something I Need
X Factor 2014 winner Ben Haenow has released the video for his winning single Something I Need.
The 29-year-old’s video follows his rise to stardom, featuring his first audition, black and white footage of Haenow kissing his over 25s mentor Simon Cowell on hearing the news that he had made it through to the live shows, and his fellow contestants storming the stage as he was crowned the winner.
Croydon born Haenow – whose cover of the One Republic hit had sold 75,000 copies by Monday evening, just 24 hours after he won the show - took to Twitter to thank fans for their support.
He tweeted: “Thank you all for your lovely comments about the #SomethingINeed video! Glad you’re enjoying it...”
Haenow beat fellow over 25s hopeful Fleur East to take the crown and will now battle it out in the charts to secure the coveted Christmas number one.
He will be perform his new single for the first time since winning the X Factor on Text Santa on ITV's Text Santa tonight.
