Chelsy Davy made her first public appearance today after splitting up with Prince Harry. The 23-year-old law student put on a brave face as she walked to lectures in Leeds, laughing and joking with friends.

But onlookers said she looked tired and may have overdone her make-up to compensate. Meanwhile it emerged that Harry was partying with Chelsy lookalikes as the couple's five-year relationship collapsed.

The girls, who bear a striking resemblance to the Zimbabwean heiress, were his twin cousins Eliza and Katya Spencer, 16, who were brought up in South Africa.

They were pictured leaving the Troubadour Club in Earls Court with the 24-year-old prince two weeks ago and, hearing their South African accents, many photographers thought one of them was Chelsy. Harry's friends revealed today that he was "upset and uncomfortable" about the photographers' mix-up because he knew his relationship was on the rocks.
