Christine Bleakley’s Daybreak ring sparks engagement rumours

Television presenter Christine Bleakley appeared to be wearing an engagement ring on her Daybreak show today.

Bleakley, 31, who co-hosts the programme with Adrian Chiles, sparked speculation that she has got engaged to Chelsea player Frank Lampard, 32.

The pair have been seeing one another since October last year. It has been rumoured that they were planning a wedding with a trip home to Belfast last month apparently to look at potential venues.

If true, it would not be the former One Show presenter's first engagement. She got engaged to Dublin-based millionaire Christian Stokes in 2004 but the couple split up a year later.

Bleakley said this week: "Frank is brilliant and totally supportive. We are very happy."

Last night Bleakley auctioned a kiss at the Covent Garden Christmas lights switch-on.
