Kit Rooney is sure to be popular with his school friends after he was gifted with hard-to-get Prime drinks for his birthday.

Wayne and Coleen Rooney went all-out to celebrate their third-born son’s seventh birthday on Tuesday.

Proud mum-of-four Coleen, 34, gave an insight into the festivities on Instagram by uploading a picture of the birthday stood in front of a huge pile of wrapped presents, a balloon display, plus, a stash of the coveted viral Prime drinks.

The hydration drink that comes in a variety of flavours has become hugely popular among teenagers and children due to effective online marketing and flavours include Meta Moon, Ice Pop, Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch, Lemon Lime, Orange and Grape.

In recent weeks, the it has become impossible for customers to get their hands on the drink amid the growing demand in the UK.

The Prime bottles – fronted by KSI and Logan Paul – can cost as much as £20 online.

“Happy 7th Birthday to my Kit Roo. I love you so much. Have the best day xxx,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.

Along with Kit, Coleen also shares sons Kai, 12, Klay, 9, and Cass, 4, with retired footballer husband Wayne, 37.

In his own tribute to the youngster, Wayne shared a series of pictures of him on social media.

“Happy 7th Birthday Kit. Have the best day. Love you mate,” the former England captain - who is now manager of Major League Soccer club D.C. United in the United States - penned, followed by a blue heart emoji.
