Superstar Robbie Williams could soon become the fifth member of legendary Swedish pop band ABBA, it emerged today.

The star is reportedly in talks with former band member Anni-Frid Lyngstad about recording one of the band's many classic hits.

Lyngstad, the brunette of the band, revealed she and Robbie have discussed the possibility of the whole band going into the recording studio to choose the song.

The 60-year-old told the Daily Star: "Robbie and I talked about doing an ABBA hit together. He has not yet come back on that one."

ABBA - comprised of Anni-Frid, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog and Benny Andersson - split in 1983 after becoming a huge success around the world.

With Robbie and ABBA's popularity combined, whatever song is recorded is sure to be a global hit.

Whether it be Dancing Queen, Waterloo or Knowing Me Knowing You, it's a sure bet that they will see a fair amount of Money Money Money from the sales.
