Courteney Cox has shared a comical response to Kanye West saying hit 90s sitcom Friends “wasn’t funny”.

West returned to Instagram over the weekend and drew attention to an old tweet of his from October 2020, revealing his dislike for the show.

While the rapper - who now goes by the name “Ye” - claims that he ‘didn’t write” the tweet, he said “I wish I had”.

This caught the attention of Cox, who starred in the beloved series as Monica Geller-Bing for all ten seasons.

Taking to her own Instagram account, she shared her thoughts with a brief video on Tuesday and couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at Kim Kardashian’s ex.

“I bet the old Kayne thought Friends was funny,’ Cox posted, along with a sad-looking emoji.

In the clip, the Scream 6 star can be seen scrolling on her phone when she comes across West’s post.

Text is then highlighted, which reads: “I actually didn’t write the teeet that said ‘Friends wasn’t funny either’ but I wish I had,’ while also highlighting West’s handle.

The video is soundtracked by West and T-Pain’s song Heartless.

Cox appears upset by what she has read and swiftly turns around and turns off the speaker playing the song as the video ends.

The move was met with cheers by Cox’s legion of followers.

“This is incredible,” declared one.

“This is so classy and iconic,” remarked another.

“You are hilarious” applauded another.
