Maybe Morgan Eastwood was dreaming of lying on a California beach when she joined father Clint on set in a chilly London this week.

The 79-year-old actor donned fleece and baseball cap to ward off the cold but appeared in jaunty mood as he shot scenes for his new film, Hereafter, in and around the Charles Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury.

Star player: Matt Damon, who takes on the role of a man with psychic abilities

As well as 13-year-old Morgan — the youngest of his seven children — he was joined by the movie's star Matt Damon, who plays a factory worker and reluctant psychic who can communicate with the dead. Some scenes have also been filmed at Petticoat Lane market and around Bermondsey and Walworth. The film is set for release in December.

Eastwood and Damon, 39, were back at work yesterday three days after appearing on the red carpet at the London premiere of Invictus.
