Dappy is "devastated" Simon Cowell banned him from going on 'The X Factor'.

The star's N-Dubz bandmate and cousin Tulisa Contostavlos had asked him and their fellow member Fazer to join her at the Judges' House stage of the ITV1 show as guest mentors, where they would help her back her final four groups.

However, the show's boss Simon - who quit his place on the judging panel to concentrate on the US launch of the programme - wasn't keen so Tulisa was eventually joined in Greece by Jessie J.

He said: "We wanted to go on 'The X Factor' to be with Tulisa on Judges' Houses but the people who own it thought we were too much of a gamble, that we wasn't right.

"Gary Barlow chose Robbie Williams and he got Robbie Williams. Tulisa wanted me and Fazer but didn't get me and Fazer. It's a joke.

"Instead Tulisa's been given Jessie J. That's cool too. Jessie is amazing, she's great, and we love that. But still the whole thing is wrong. I'm devastated they don't think we're capable of going on there and helping her."

Dappy has now warned the 51-year-old music mogul to watch his back.

He added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Simon, I'm coming for you, bro. I don't care, I don't give two s**ts - you've made a big mistake, man. Watch your back, Simon!"
