Filming of the second series of US hit show Ugly Betty has been thrown into turmoil as the star, America Ferrera, has to shoot the sequel to a terrible B movie.

She filmed The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants before she hit the big time, and its producers are holding her to a clause in a contract she signed.

The actress reportedly had her eye on another role in a film called An Invisible Sign of My Own which is currently in development.
