When Marks & Spencer signed up Myleene Klass to be the face of its advertising campaign, it probably didn't expect that she would become the tummy, too.

The 28-year-old musician and TV presenter is her usual slimline self in the adverts and TV commercials currently being shown.

Since they were shot, however, she has announced that she is expecting her first child - and has the baby bump to prove it.

A spokesman for M&S said: "She's modelling the normal range of bikinis, suitable for anyone who is pregnant or not pregnant"

Yet both Myleene and M&S aren't letting that get in the way of the latest campaign, as these pictures show. The star, who rose to fame as part of the reality TV band Hear"Say, looked blooming as she modelled the store's new swimwear collection in the Bahamas last week.

Holding a shell, she walked through the waves in a white bikini, attended by a photographer, make-up artists and wardrobe assistants.

Her manager, Jonathan Shalit, said: "Marks have been amazing in their support of Myleene and embracing her being pregnant."

A spokesman for M&S said: "She's modelling the normal range of bikinis, suitable for anyone who is pregnant or not pregnant.

"She was working for us before she was pregnant and obviously we are delighted she is modelling the range at the moment."

The current M&S commercials feature a pre-pregnancy Myleene with Twiggy, Lizzie Jagger, Erin O"Connor and Laura Bailey. They have been credited with driving the store's profits to an expected £1billion this year.

Myleene, a classically trained pianist, is expecting her first child with fiance Graham Quinn, a former Hear"Say bodyguard, this summer.

Last year it was revealed that he was a convicted heroin dealer but Myleene insisted he was a reformed character and said she was sticking by him.

The past 18 months have been a success for Myleene. As well as the M&S campaign, she has appeared in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, has her own show on CNN, features on The National Lottery: People's Quiz on BBC1 on Saturday nights and also has a new record contract with EMI.
