Gemma Arterton channelled Mick Jagger as she sang The Rolling Stones' Sympathy For The Devil at a charity variety show.

She was among star performers who raised £380,000 for the Hoping Foundation, which funds children's projects in occupied Palestine.

Arterton said: "I've never been so nervous about anything in my life."

Jimmy Carr, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Boy George and Rizzle Kicks also performed for guests including Kate Moss, Rupert Everett and Tracey Emin.
