All the other open-air ice rinks have magically melted away, but you can still have a skate outside in the City.

Get your skates on if you want to enjoy the rink at the Broadgate Centre, though, as it officially closes for the season on Sun 11 Apr (but maybe even before that if the weather gets warm).

Broadgate Ice, 12 Exchange Square, EC2 (020-7505 4068). Mon-Fri noon-2.30pm & 3.30pm-6pm, Fri 7pm-10pm, Sat & Sun 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm, Sat 5pm-8.30pm, Sun 5pm-7pm, £5, child £3, skate hire £2, child £1. 6+
