Channel 4 is refusing to confirm the names joining the fifth series of the hit reality show.

But those in the running are rumoured to include former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd, Hi-Di-Hi! star Su Pollard and sex swap antiques expert Lauren Harries.

Feisty Jade, who found fame in Big Brother four years ago, is said to be going back in - this time as a celebrity - and is keeping it in the family as her mother, her lover, and her grand-parents join her in the house.

It is thought that she will emerge days after other contestants such as former Baywatch star Hasselhoff and Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine make their debut.

Other names tipped to take part include former Steps singer Ian 'H' Watkins, ex-chat show host Robert Kilroy-Silk, Starsky and Hutch TV actor Paul Michael Glaser, rocker Danny Tourette, Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and Chelsea footballer Jason Cundy and his wife Lizzie.

Channel 4 is giving only clues to the identity of the contestants, saying that one is an expert fly-fisher, another attended dance school, and one cites Baywatch as their favourite TV show.

One of the stars attended a convent, another is a huge Big Brother fan, one is obsessed with Formula 1, one still lives with her mother and two of the celebrities have servants.

Last year's show was won by non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton and highlights included the sight of MP George Galloway pretending to be a cat.

Tonight's arrivals take place live on Channel 4 in a launch show hosted by Davina McCall at 8.00pm.
