Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears are reportedly set to appear on an I'm A Celebrity reunion episode following their shock exits from the show.

The former campmates - both of whom left the jungle early - will take part in a reunion episode, due to air on Wednesday.

They will be joined by Jungle King Sam Thompson, 31, runner-up Tony Bellew, 41, and Nigel Farage, 59, who came in third place plus all the other campmates including Danielle Harold, Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix.

Spears and Dent’s appearance on the episode will mark their first sit-down interviews since they quit the jungle.

Food critic and Masterchef star Dent, 50, became the first contestant to quit the show. It came after fans voiced their concern about her “ill” appearance.

Meanwhile Spears, 32, quit days later, citing “medial issues.”

The singer and actor - who is the younger sister of Britney Spears - had struggled throughout her time in the jungle and had threatened to quit on a number of occasions throughout her time in Australia.

It marked the first time in the shows 21-year history that two stars walked out.

Speaking about Spears and Dent’s return, a source told Mail Online: “Jamie and Grace will be speaking for the first time since they quit life in the jungle.

“Viewers will finally get to hear first-hand the highs and lows experienced by both of the stars, who are yet to open about the reasons behind their shock departures.

“Grace goes into detail about the struggles she faced while Jamie hints that the love and admiration she has for her campmates will see her travel to the UK for a reunion.”

Reality star and radio host Thompson was announced as the winner of the ITV reality show on Sunday night after securing 56.6% of the vote with former professional boxer Tony Bellew coming second with 43.4%, while former Ukip leader Nigel Farage took third place.

The finale saw an average audience of 6.6 million tune in on the night, ITV said, which is a notable drop from 10.1 million viewers who watched former England footballer Jill Scott beat Matt Hancock and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner to become queen of the jungle last year.

Sunday’s show also attracted a peak audience of 7.6 million while the 2023 finale topped at 11.5 million viewers.

During the final days of the ITV reality show, Thompson took on the famous cyclone obstacle course and ate items including a pig’s vagina and a camel’s penis for his last bushtucker trial.

The TV star revealed that his time in the jungle was “one of the happiest” times of his life.

He said: “It's pretty easy to sort of be happy in there because I’ve been a fan of it for so long and, I know this sound really cringy, when you’re in there with proper celebrities like world champion boxers, world champion jockeys, you’ve got singers, you’ve got actors, it’s the coolest thing in the world.

“And because I’ve watched the show for so many years and then being around all these people and they can’t leave, they have to be there, they can’t go anywhere.

“It’s a very easy place to be happy. I think I was one of the happiest I’ve ever been in that jungle.”
