Contestants on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will be given blood to drink as part of a gruesome new task.

Stars who are due to take part in the upcoming series of the ITV1 reality programme will come face-to-face with camel blood as cruel bosses plan to put it on the menu in their Bushtucker 'bush buffet' trial.

Other delicacies on the rancid menu include emu liver, rat brains, crocodile foreskin, deer penis and rotting duck egg as producers want to make this series "the toughest yet".

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Things are getting tougher this year. The bush buffet will turn even the strongest stomach, with the camel blood possibly the worst ever item dished up. It certainly won't be a picnic for them."

This year's line-up is set to include camp Coronation Street star Antony Cotton, funnyman Freddie Starr, sexy Imogen Thomas and former teen idol Aaron Carter.

However, David Hasselhoff's girlfriend, Hayley Roberts, has turned down an offer to go into the Australian outback as she's scared of spiders.

The new series - to be hosted once gain by Ant and Dec - starts next month.
