It's Moulin Rouge at the Hippodrome!

The Hippodrome, one of the London's most famous nightclubs with a rich history of entertaining rock stars, models and the showbiz elite has announced that it is re-launching as

"We're looking to the club's circus years for inspiration, not only for nostalgia but for fantasy, kitsch, excess and fun which is what the new era of clubbing is all about. We want Cirque to become a mecca for burlesque loving, fashionable clubbers who are embracing the carnivalesque culture which is taking the UK dance and fashion circles by storm" explained Kiri Stylianou, marketing director of the new look club.

New nights at Cirque will include La La La on Thursdays, an evening of retro and current dance classics; Carousel on Fridays which will play commercial house, funk and will feature live music acts and Cirque on Saturdays which will combine the best sounds of New York, Detroit and London, specialising in electro-glam and new interpretations of vintage rock disco. New DJs are being sought after, with the club keen to break new talent as well as showcase established acts.
