TV chef Jamie Oliver is the most envied celebrity, according to a survey. But it is his impressive kitchen skills that make us wish we could be the cheeky chappy from Essex, not his millions in the bank.

The results also suggest the allure of Oliver's culinary capabilities is even greater than actress Angelina Jolie's much-envied good looks.

Some 12% said they would like to be the chef for a week, with 47% citing his success in the kitchen and just 1% his money, according to figures from consumer assistance organisation the CPP Group.

David Beckham and Robbie Williams were the joint second most envied celebrities, with 9% wishing they could be one for them for seven days.
Beckham's achievements on the pitch were the reason for 36%, while 33% wanted his fortune. Only 4% said it was for his looks.

Jolie came third with 8%, of whom 40% wished they could have her looks.
Some 7% wanted to be Bob Geldof in the survey of 1,000 people to mark National Identity Fraud Prevention Week.

After that came Prince William, Madonna, Victoria Beckham, Dame Ellen MacArthur and Zara Philips.

Owen Roberts, Head of Identity Protection Plan at CPP said: "Although Brits want to steal a celebrity's identity based on their achievements, the lure of their money is nearly as motivating."
