Katie Price has admitted that she couldn't stop thinking of Peter Andre when in the Australian jungle for a second time for I'm A Celebrity.

Still not over it: Peter Andre and Katie Price during happier times

She told Hello! magazine: "My mind went into overdrive and I became really reflective. Last time I had Peter to content me – as soon as I woke up I'd be looking for him.

"But this time was way too hard: the constant good memories had become sad memories.

"All I could think about was my children – and also, unfortunately, of Peter, who was always on my mind – not that I want to get back with him, but I was hoping he was watching and thinking "That's the girl I married. She's still the same."

She has also spoken out about Peter's reaction to the media attention on their break-up:

"The media kept playing me and Pete off against each other. All Pete had to do was say Hang on a minute! This is between me and Kate and I don't want a bad word said about the mother of my children. She's a good mum.' But not once did I see him stick up for me, and I find that very hard to understand."

When asked if she would swap her famous lifestyle for a happy marriage, Katie tellingly reveals "I'd choose the happy marriage – 100 per cent."
