Kerry Katona was caught up in a Twitter hoax after a bogus account announced she was pregnant with her fifth child.

A spokesman for the former Atomic Kitten singer denied she was having another baby and said the Twitter page was not hers.

The 'news' was announced in a post that read: "Ok twits, I wouldn't normally come out and say this cos it's dead early but all the BULL**** being wrote in press that I quit, I'm fat, I'm lazy is CRAP.

"I had to leave cos I found out that me and Mark are having another baby! We are dead shocked but OVER THE MOON!"

In later posts, the 29-year-old appeared to be thanking those who had left congratulations, adding: "Awww thanks guys! Please god, let it be healthy and another boy would even it out."

Katona has two children from her marriage to Mark Croft and has daughters Lily-Sue, seven, and Molly, nine, from her relationship with former Westlife singer Brian McFadden.
