Former Love Island star Laura Anderson has announced she’s expecting her first baby with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy.

The 33-year-old, who split from the soap actor, 41, in January after a whirlwind romance, shared the news on Wednesday in an Instagram reel that showcased her pregnancy thus far.

Although it’s not known if the couple have rekindled their romance, Anderson’s video highlighted their delight in learning about their impending arrival, including hospital visits and scans.

At one point, Lucy posed with Anderson and her baby bump at Christmas, before he held up a babygrow with the words “The one where we become parents. Baby Lucy due August 2023” across it.

The TV personalities first met while filming E4 show Celebs Go Dating last year.

Anderson was by the actor’s side after he crashed his car in a terrifying Boxing Day accident, which saw him narrowly miss serious injury.

Despite professing their love for one another over Christmas on social media, the couple split and removed any trace of their relationship from Instagram.

Lucy, best known for his roles in Hollyoaks and Footballers’ Wives, has four children with ex-wife Natasha Gray, who he divorced in 2018.

Former air stewardess Anderson was previously in a relationship with singer Dane Bowers but they split for good in 2022.

They first struck up a relationship in 2017 before parting ways when he cheated on her, rekindling their romance four years later in 2021.

Notably she shared with her followers last May that she and Bowers were undergoing IVF treatment after struggling to fall pregnant.

But it wasn’t meant to be as the Scottish star announced her split from Bowers in August and moved out of the Dubai home they shared just days later.
