Heather Mills may claim in court that Sir Paul McCartney is such a bad father that two of his children have 'contemplated suicide', it was reported yesterday.

She could make the allegation because she is desperate to keep daughter Beatrice as the estranged couple work out their £50million divorce, a US newspaper alleged.

Sir Paul has four adult children from his marriage to his late wife Linda. There has never been any evidence that any considered suicide.

Sir Paul's spokesman described the story as 'tabloid fodder' last night.
