Former Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have officially tied the knot.

The couple held their nuptials in Chelsea Town Hall on Friday with the bride, 27, donning a Vivienne Westwood minidress and cropped Gigi and Olive veil for the occasion while Candy Kittens entrepreneur Laing, 34, looked dashing in a navy double-breasted suit.

After saying ‘I do’ the pair, who got engaged in December 2021 having started dating in April 2019, enjoyed a private lunch at Stanley’s which included a trout starter, cod main and wedding cake for dessert.

The reality TV stars are set to hold a second ceremony with their wider circle of friends and family in Spain on May 19.

They have been documenting their upcoming nuptials on their podcast, Nearlyweds, discussing the trials and tribulations of planning a wedding.

Ahead of their official ceremony, Laing was feeling reflective as he tweeted: “Life begins today.”

The happy occasion comes as Habboo shocked fans on Thursday when she announced that they were tying the knot as she enjoyed a “Hydrafacial” and underwent an Emsulpt treatment in London.

Taking to Instagram, the podcaster also revealed that she was getting her hair done in anticipation of their big day, snapping a selfie and writing: “Back in the hot seat.”

When the couple got engaged in 2021, Laing proposed with handwritten letters at London's luxury Rosewood hotel but the intimate moment was almost ruined when candles came close to setting Sophie on fire.

The second ceremony is due to take place in Seville next month.

They previously revealed that they turned down offers to film their wedding for a Made In Chelsea special.

Laing told MailOnline at the time: “We got asked to do a TV show but it’s tricky. I have done reality for so long and it’s tough on the soul.

“I don’t think TV is ever on your own terms so unless you have control over those things then it’s quite difficult. It’s one of those things that you must decide whether you want to go down the reality TV route again or not.

“Once you get married, what happens then? Do we do another show about being married… when does it end? For the moment I am parking reality.”
