Maxwell is up for eviction from the Big Brother house for the second consecutive week - this time with Science.

The pair learnt today that their fellow housemates had nominated them for the chop.

Londoner Maxwell escaped the chop last week when his lover, promotions girl Saskia, was booted out instead.

The announcement was made after Makosi suggested that her steamy pool session with Anthony was more than just heavy petting.

The nurse implied to Team Diva that her fumble with Anthony went the whole way.

She declared to Vanessa and Kemal in the loft that she reached unimaginable heights of excitement.

"I need you guys to promise not to talk about it to anybody. I don't want Anthony to know," she said.

Maxwell received six votes - from Science, Derek, Eugene, Kemal, Makosi and Orlaith, while Science received four - from Anthony, Craig, Maxwell and Vanessa.

On hearing the news, Maxwell said: "May the best man win, Science," to which Science replied: "I was about to say the same thing."

Makosi and Vanessa were the only housemates to receive no nominations this week.

Science is the 1-4 favourite for eviction on Friday with Maxwell expected to survive again, at 11-4.

Derek, Maxwell and Makosi are 7-2 co-favourites to win.

Ladbrokes spokesman Warren Lush said: "Punters aren't blinded by Science, it looks like the cockney geezer is going to survive again.

"If anything, support for Maxwell has increased in recent days and he's now one of the favourites to win."

Makosi nominated new housemate and her rival Orlaith, with whom she shared a clinch in the pool at the weekend, for the chop.

She said in the Diary Room: "She's a bit of a two-faced one ... she can't say no, she's a weak woman, I can't stand weak women who use their body.

"She's very pretty but that's all there is. Straight after Anthony snogged me, she went after him.

"I don't like competition. I don't like mouse-like people, marshmallow type people.

"I think she's not being true to herself, there's something going on with her, she's playing a game and if you're going to play a game, play something you're good at.

"She competes with me the most and since she's been here I haven't seen her wear her own shoes, she always wears my shoes."

Anthony voted for Science because "he has an absolutely huge mouth for a little man" and Craig called him "very argumentative, very dictatorial".

Maxwell said Science "doesn't practise what he preaches ... he doesn't compromise and he shouts too much" while Vanessa called him "incredibly irritating" saying: "I just can't bear to live with him any longer."

Derek said Maxwell's presence in the house was "not conducive to the world of the other housemates".

Eugene criticised him for "leaving stuff around", adding: "He's disrespectful to the girl ... he's not a team player ... he goes out of his way to irritate the rest of the group."

Kemal nominated Maxwell, calling him a "a lazy, cheating, good-for-nothing lager-louting woman sh ging, vile pig ... He's two-faced and has double-standards".

Orlaith voted for Maxwell because "I just don't get on with him", she said.
"When he was up for eviction, it was like his whole world had come to an end.
"It's all about him. He gets on my nerves. He says things without thinking ... he's really rude, a lazy slob."

Today saw Craig and Maxwell cuddling up on the sofa together.

Maxwell had been teasing Craig about fancying Anthony, but it could be that Craig actually has his eye on Maxwell.

"You have soppy eyes," Craig told Maxwell as the pair discussed their favourite body parts. "I love it when you get serious," Craig added, before giving Maxwell a massage.
