The scariest of the Spices, Mel B, was left open-mouthed and after Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie-Ann Inaba said the Leeds beauty had a 'mouth like a truck driver'.

Gobsmacked: Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie-Ann Inaba said Mel had a 'mouth like a trucker' but that her dancing was 'womanly and graceful'

Matronly Mel: The Spice Girl won praise from the judges for her performance but her matronly outfit did little to flatter her fabulous post-baby figure

The full length overly-fussy dress did her fabulous figure no favours, and the grandmother hairstyle aged her by ten years.

And to add insult to injury judge Carrie-Ann Inaba said of Leeds-born Mel: "When you open your mouth you're just kind of like a truck driver".

The Spice Girl's face visibly dropped and she was left open-mouthed. But Inaba quickly added: "But when you dance out here you bring together this sensual elegance, you are very womanly and graceful.

"What I love about you is that you've made this incredible transformation".

All smiles: Mel and Maksim scored a high 26 points out of 30 for their Viennese Waltz

Mel and her dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were awarded 26 points for their Viennese waltz.

After the dance Mel revealed that if she is not eliminated from the show during the results show she will take Chmerkovskiy to the U.K. with her while she shoots the new Spice Girls video later this week.

"I think they'll like him," said Mel.

"He's a nice guy. He has to be submissive and he'll be fine."

Happy couple: Mel with husband Stephen Belafonte

Mel B is set to appear in court with former lover Eddie Murphy - on the eve of the Spice Girls' first reunion performance.

The hearing, to determine how much maintenance he'll pay for their daughter Angel Iris, is scheduled in Los Angeles on November 14.

The next day the Spices are booked for a Victoria's Secret fashion gig which will act as a warm-up for their world tour.

But despite her packed schedule, mother-of-two Mel, now wed to producer Stephen Belafonte won't postpone the hearing.

A friend said: "Eddie refuses to see Angel so this is important to her."

Court date: Mel will face ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy in court next month to determine maintenance payments for their daughter Angel Iris
