Meryl Streep to become grandma again as daughter Grace Gummer expecting first child with Mark Ronson

Meryl Streep is set to become a grandmother for the second time after daughter Grace Gummer revealed that she is pregnant with her and husband Mark Ronson’s first child.

Actress Gummer, 36, debuted her blossoming baby bump in a figure-hugging red dress at W magazine’s 50th anniversary party in New York on Tuesday (October 11).

According to an inside source, the couple is “thrilled” by the baby news, telling PageSix that music producer Ronson has “always wanted to be a dad”.

It comes just months after they celebrated their first wedding anniversary in August, which the Uptown Funk chart-topper marked by sharing a gushing tribute to his wife on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Ronson hailed Gummer the “most incredible human being”.

He penned: “When people used to tell me their spouse was their best friend, I thought they were spouting Hallmark nonsense or that they were some freak anomaly of love.

“Or maybe I just married the most incredible human being around. Happy Anniversary to my darlingest, you’ve made me happy beyond my wildest.”

They had been dating for around a year before tying the knot on Ronson’s 46th birthday.

Streep became a grandmother when her eldest daughter, Mamie Gummer, 39, welcomed a baby boy in February 2019.
