Nadine Coyle gets turned off by men who talk too much.

The Girls Aloud singer - who is engaged to NFL player Jason Bell - says she isn't a fan of over confident men and can't stand it if they spend the whole date chatting about themselves.

She said: "The worst thing a man can do on a date is talk too much. I think if someone has agreed to go on a date they like you anyway, so all you can do is ruin it by talking too much. It's always good to be humble and seem to appreciate yourself rather than trying to seem better than what you are. You might be great, I'm sure you are, but let the woman make that decision - it's not for you to go telling."

Nadine also revealed how she would rather a boyfriend break up with her over a long period of time as she thinks it's less painful.

She told GQ magazine: "You need to tailor it off. To just come out with it - to say 'I want to break up' can be harsh. If you ease off on the time that you spend with them. It fades out so you both, especially her if she's still into it, so she gets used to you not being around rather than having to deal with the devastating blow. Death by a thousand stabs rather than one."
