Nancy Sinatra has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Sinatra, 65, is the daughter of singing icon Frank and known for her 1966 rebel hit These Boots Are Made for Walkin'.

She said: "My advice to young women starting out is 'hang tough, don't quit'."

In 1967, Something Stupid, a duet with her father, became a No1 hit.

She also co-starred with Elvis Presley in 1968 film Speedway.
