Neve Campbell is "doing great" in the wake of her marital split being made public.

The 'Scream' actress - whose petition to divorce John Light after three years of marriage was filed several months ago but only revealed this week - insists she is not struggling with being single again and is looming forward to spending the festive season with her loved ones.

She told UsMagazine.com: "I'm always doing great. What will I be doing in the holiday season? Spending time with my family and friends. I'm really looking forward to that this year."

It was revealed this week that Neve cited "irreconcilable differences" with her English actor spouse as the reason behind the separation, which she filed documents for five months ago at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

She also wants to block the court from awarding him any spousal support, although the pair reportedly remain on good terms.

A source said: "They're still really close friends, and it was a very amicable divorce."

It is the second marriage split for the Canadian actress.

She broke-up from her first husband Jeff Colt after three years of marriage in 1998.
