As far as debut gigs go, this one has to be the best attended. The Dead Weather - a side project of White Stripes' Jack White and The Kills' Alison Mosshart - played their first London show last night to an ultra-cool crowd.

Fan: Noel Fielding

The band performed at the Boston Arms in Tufnell Park, in front of a select audience that included Noel Fielding, pictured (who has a weird habit of dressing just like Mosshart), The Beastie Boys and Carl Barat. Kimberley Stewart was also there.

The Dead Weather also "stars" Jack Lawrence from Jack White's other band The Raconteurs, and Dean Fertita from Queens Of The Stone Age.
