Peaches Geldof was banned from going backstage at Julien Macdonald's catwalk show after she walked off with a load of designer gear from a photoshoot.

Sir Bob's daughter had better be careful after her growing reputation for "sticky fingers" came back to bite her on the behind at the London Fashion Week show.

Fashion stylists are said to be warning each other not to lend her clothes after she kept £6,000 of clobber and accessories from a magazine shoot.

An insider at the event said wily organisers thought it was in their best interests to keep her away from all of Macdonald's designer dresses backstage.

"Like it or not, Peaches is earning herself a reputation as someone who is not to be trusted," says our source.

"The story of her keeping a load of gear from her magazine shoot has been going around the fashion circuit, and designers are being advised to steer clear of her.

"Some of Julien's dresses are worth thousands and thousands and are among the most sought-after in the fashion world.

"Instead, she had to make do with a front row seat with her boyfriend Fred Les."

Peaches was doing a photoshoot with i-D magazine when gear including a £1,500 Chanel handbag, a Chanel belt worth £850 and two j u m p e r s and a jacket from Luella worth £2,000 went missing.

The 17-year-old claimed they had been stolen while she was in a changing room, but she was photographed wearing them four days later.

Embarrassed, she did later return the clothes.

The usual mayhem at the Macdonald catwalk show, which this year featured Naomi Campbell, would have made it hard to keep track of every item.

The event is infamous for bad organisation, with much pushing and shoving going on in the huge crowds.

Peaches was joined on the front row by sister Pixie, Jaime Winston and Kimberly Stewart.

They all continued to the after-show party held at the Cuckoo Club along side veteran party girls Louise Redknapp, Jodie Kidd, Erin O'Connor and Victoria Hervey.
