Victoria Beckham has been branded 'the death of football'.

Bayern Munich manager Uli Hoeness spoke out after failing to lure Posh's 31-year-old husband David to Germany.

Instead, the former England captain signed a £128million deal with Los Angeles Galaxy. Hoeness said yesterday: 'I like David Beckham very much but not his wife.

'Such people are the death of football and Beckham is a product of these people. It is bad that he must now go to Hollywood. He is actually a highly gifted player.'

Earlier this season, Hoeness said Beckham had 'not had anything to do with football for a long time' and went on to predict 'the next thing we'll see is him in a film with his wife'.

Victoria, 32, was house-hunting in Beverly Hills again yesterday near the home of friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
