Singer Rita Ora has all but confirmed her marriage to Oscar-winning director Taika Waititi while chatting about her relationship on a new podcast.

The British singer, 31, and New Zealander director, 46, are reported to have tied the knot in a “super special” ceremony in London during the summer.

Guest starring on friend Jaime Winstone’s new Greatest Night Ever podcast, Ora stopped short of confirming her marriage but professed she is “very much in love” - and hinted a big celebration could be on the horizon.

“I’m very much in love,” she said in the episode released on Tuesday, before singing: “I’m in love, I’m in love, amen!”

“I love Taika,” she said, describing him as “so funny and lovely”.

“But I love love as well. I’ve always been such a believer in it, and I’ve always felt like I always wanted the fairytale and that’s what I grew up loving.

“My parents have been together for over 30 years, so for me it was always about love and finding a partner and all that, so I’m really happy I did.”

An unnamed source told the Sun newspaper in August: “It was a really intimate ceremony and super special for everyone there. Their nearest and dearest can see how madly in love they are.”

It was also reported that they were hoping to hold a larger celebration at a later date.

Actress Jaime Winstone hinted at this on her podcast this week saying “There might be another greatest night ever coming”, to which Ora responded: “Oh I hope so!”

The pop and R&B star added that while she is typically fiercely private about her personal life, it will feature heavily in her third album, due to be released next year.

It will be the R.I.P. and How We Do singer’s first studio album since 2018’s Phoenix.

Ora, from London, and Waititi - who directed and starred in Academy Award-winning 2020 film Jojo Rabbit - began dating in March 2021.

They were later pictured cuddled up at the premiere of The Suicide Squad in Los Angeles.

They reportedly grew close while Ora was in Australia working as a coach on TV singing show The Voice.

Rumours of their marriage began circulating when the pair were spotted wearing gold bands on their ring fingers.

Waititi was previously married to film producer Chelsea Winstanley, with whom he shares two children.
