Robbie Williams has showed off his new trimmer figure just months after admitting that keeping his weight under control is a “constant battle”.

Actor and model Ayda Field Williams, the singer’s wife, shared a video of Williams, 49, playing with his son in the sunshine on her Instagram page.

In the video, Williams shows off his trimmer figure — wearing just a pair of designer shorts and a pink hat.

Field Williams captioned the video: “He’s got Robbie Williams’ eyes #zaddy #stillgotit #nofilterneeded #crush AWxx @robbiewilliams”.

The couple, who married 13 years ago, share four children — Theodora, 10, Charlton, eight, Colette Josephine, four, and Beau, three.

The singer has shifted weight ahead of the release of his latest album, marking 25 years as a solo artist for the former Take That star.

He recently spoke about how keeping his weight under control is often difficult due to his addictive personality, meaning he struggles with moderation and often obsessively eats.

In a recent interview with The Sun, he admitted: "I have lost weight but it is a constant fight. Inside me there’s a giant person.

"My whole being and my whole body wants me to go in the opposite direction and be morbidly obese.

"At the moment I am just eating less. It is a constant slog and it is not a natural way of being. For me, what is normal is being twice this size."

He said he thanked "God for vanity", adding that if he was not in the public eye he would struggle to find motivation to be in shape.

He admitted he has “an addictive nature that finds a loophole in sugar".
