Fans have been given a rare glimpse of Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick enjoying some family time with their three children.

The And Just Like That actress, 58, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off star, 61, have been married for 26 years and share 21-year-old son James and 14-year-old twin daughters Tabitha and Marion.

In a cosy selfie uploaded to their son’s Instagram account as part of a slideshow, they can all be seen snuggling under a duvet together.

The Brown University sophomore – who is studying classics and classical languages, literatures, and linguistics – captioned his post, “Cheers, California” and his parents’ colleague Julie Halston commented: “Loved having you here!”

His 23.5k followers were delighted by the sight and rushed to the comments section to voice their approval.

“As a mama, that’s one happy mama having all her kids together! Happy Holiday to all,” wrote one person.

“Family pictures are the best,” agreed another, followed by a red love heart emoji.

“The cutest family,” declared a third.

Their downtime comes ahead of a very exciting and busy new year with Parker and Broderick set to bring their Broadway revival of Neil Simon comedy Plaza Suite to the West End from January 17 to March 31 at London’s Savoy Theatre.

Some might worry about the toll that working with their other half could take, especially after almost three decades together, but Broderick isn’t fazed.

“I admire her so much,” he gushed to The Guardian in August.

“Never mind personally – loving her and all that – but I admire her acting, too. Sarah started her career on the stage as well. So she’s great at handling an audience. She’s as sharp as can be. She’s got real chops.”
