Model Sophie Anderton said 15 days in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! camp had been harder than battling her addiction to drugs and alcohol.

The 27-year-old seemed overjoyed when hosts Ant and Dec announced that viewers had voted for her to leave the Australian wilderness.

"I'm so happy, I'm so happy," she said as she danced around the camp, kissing the remaining four celebrities.

"I'm so happy I get to see my boyfriend."

Anderton laughed and appeared embarrassed as she watched a selection of highlights from her two-week stay in the camp.

The model said earlier that competing in the reality TV show was harder than fighting her addictions.

As she left the camp last night, she told Ant and Dec that the show was difficult at first because she treated it as a "military exercise" and tried to cut her emotions off.

"As I got to know people a lot better and thanks to Nat and our big argument ... I didn't realise I was being so unemotional. I was trying to be so perfect," she said.

"Once I relaxed, the last week has been really good fun."

During the programme, Anderton was forced to eat slippery nasties, had a big argument with former All Saints member Natalie Appleton and became close friends with Fran Cosgrove.

During the programme, she was also criticised for talking about herself too much and branded a "spoilt bitch" by Sheila Ferguson after the Three Degrees singer was booted off the show.

After the interview, she was met by her boyfriend Mark Alexiou, whom she has described as "the love of my life", who hugged and kissed her in front of the cameras.
